As Robby and Travis finally began to come to their senses, they realized the first thing they needed to do was find the other remaining survivors. They couldn't be that far apart, after all, it wasn't that big of a town and now there is now no way of leaving anyways. The two boys set off in search of anyone living and breathing that they could find. After a few blocks, the two boys heard voices from inside a nearby grocery store. Simultaneously, the two broke into a dead sprint in hopes of finding the other survivors. When they entered the building, amazed at how it was still even standing, they began to follow the voices. As they sprinted through, they turned a corner and there sat three more people; two girls and a boy. As they began introducing themselves, they now could add Sara, Laney, and Tyler to their "survivor group". They all began rummaging through the store, trying to find any food items or drinks they could to take with them on their journey to find the rest of the survivors. They stepped outside and began to walk down the road in hopes of finding the rest of the people they needed.
As they made there way through the rubble they slowly found some more items they thought could possibly be useful in their survival. Backpacks, pens, paper, flashlights, food, and maps were picked up along the way. However, the maps were strange. There was something different about them. Sara found the first map and picked it up to examine it. "Hmm, this doesn't look like any map I've ever seen", said Sara. Tyler leaned over to look at the map as well. Tyler noticed that the map was in a very distinct area and seemed to be cut off sharply at the end of Lonesfield. But it also did not have the same typical streets and key points that Lonesfield has always had. Tyler grew up in Lonesfield his whole life and when he saw the map he knew it was not the Lonefield he always knew. "Where's the mini-mart, where is county line road, and where's Lonesfield high?", Tyler said as he looked at the map. They knew this map would probably come in handy so Travis stuffed it in the old red backpack he found underneath a broken dresser. As the group walked around the streets some more, they found more maps and made sure to keep them all together. In total, they found seven maps and once the sun starting setting that night they found a house that had one room that was semi-standing and they sat in there until morning. Before going to sleep the survivor group put together all of the maps, trying to come to some understanding of it but they eventually gave up and agreed to look at them some other day. They were still too shocked and exhausted to make any meaning of them. The group all had a sleepless night. Too many thoughts were rushing through their heads. But when the sun rose the next morning they all were up and ready to explore some more and try to figure out what they were going to do. At 8am sharp, they heard a siren going off. Not a siren of a police, ambulance, or fire truck. But some other kind of siren. The group all just turned toward each other and froze in shock. After 10 straight minutes of a deafening siren it eventually turned off. Laney said, "Umm guys. What was that?" All of the others shook their heads having no idea what just happened and what the siren meant.

Entry #3- Government and Rules
The 13 survivors who are left all eventually find there way out of their houses through the destruction and debris but are still very lost and confused as to what just happened and why they are the lone survivors. As they make their way around the town they start to see some papers appearing that are posted on leftover trees, bookshelves that are left standing, and on parts of houses. Robby and Travis happen upon one of these papers and walk past it thinking it was nothing more than a lost cat or dog sign that had somehow just survived the tornado. But then they started to see more and more and they looked like they just kept appearing. Trees that they had already walked by that did not have anything on it before suddenly now have papers covering it. They were shocked and utterly confused to see this going on. Carefully, Robby and Travis walked to one tree that had used to be in the backyard of the Williams' house. Travis leaned over and ripped one of the papers of the tree and began reading it.
The town of Lonesfield has a purpose.
As one of the survivors you will have duties.
Get together with the other survivors and learn how to live in this new version of the town.
There is no way out.
Everyone has to work together but you must separate your jobs.
Past friendships and enemies no longer matter.
No people can come in and no people can leave.
Your are stuck here now.
The older people will have the better jobs.
But the better or worse jobs are determined by you, the members of Lonesfield.
You will figure out how to separate who gets what jobs.
You will determine what jobs are needed.
You are a society together and must learn how to live this way.
There may be hints given by us, the government, later on but this is what you are given now.
There will be a store for supplies that will be built and regularly stocked.
However, the supplies will be limited so choose wisely.
Now go off and start your new society off the right way.
Robby and Travis shuddered with fear once they finished reading the paper. They both just turned and stared at each other speechless for a while.

Entry #2- The main survivors
Robby is one of the survivors. He lives through all of the destruction but is still in a state of shock. So many thoughts are rushing through his head as he is in this state of utter confusion. How did this happen? What even happened? Who else survived? Are my parents alive? Robby is a 14 year old boy. He had just been enjoying his summer break alone in his house when this disaster struck. His parents had both been a couple miles down the road at work. He rummaged through the mess of fallen bookshelves, broken beds, piles of debris, and what had once been treasured items that now looked like a mess of junk. "What am I supposed to do now?", Robby asked to himself. He first looked for his phone so he could call and see what he should do and who all even survived this tornado because he had no idea how he even was still alive. Robby searched for about 10 minutes before finding it under a pile of broken furniture. But when he attempted to call his dad there was no cell service. So Robby made his way out of the house to go look at the mess of the streets and the other houses. When he finally climbed over and under the destruction of his house he made it out to see that the streets looked just as bad as his house did. When he got outside Robby started to smell something in the air. It smelled like chemicals. But he suddenly forgot about the smell when he finally saw someone else who was struggling to get out of her house.
Robby saw the person struggling to make their way through the debris, so without thought, he quickly made his way to the house across the street; but who he found was not the person he was hoping for. His foot wedged between what was left of a couch and a wooden beam that had fallen, there laid Robby’s worst enemy, Travis Collins, spread out across the ground trying to free himself. All through grade school, Travis had found any way possible to try and make Robby’s life a living hell and most times, he succeeded. With these Robby slowly made his way toward Travis, trying himself not to get stuck in the clutter that laid among what was left of the house. With the scarring memories fluttering through his mind, Robby slowly made his way towards the stuck boy and as soon as Travis spotted him, he instantly started begging for help. Robby asked himself, “Should I help the boy who made my life miserable?” To be the bigger person or walk away? With this question in mind, Robby knew he had to do the better thing in his heart. With this in mind he made his way towards the boy and without saying a word, began to push the beam as hard as he could until finally Travis’s leg was free. “Thanks….” Was the only word Travis could manage to spit out. “What the heck happened?” Robby said. “Geez idiot, you think I know? Come on, it’s better to go together than alone”, said Travis. “Where are we going?”, Robby asked and the look on Travis’s face gave him the only answer he needed. And with that, the two boys began walking down the road of what remained of their neighborhood in hopes of finding someone or something that could give them some sort of answer.
Emily woke up to someone crying. It wasn’t close, but it was close enough to hear. She tried to get up, but it seemed that her left wrist had failed her and she crashed to the ground feeling the pain rushing through her body. What in the world? What happened to my arm? Then all of a sudden, it hit her. She walked here with Harley. “Harley? Harley, where are you?” Emily called out to her daughter. She forgot about the pain for a second and started to look all around her among the debris outside the Lonesfield Hospital where she worked as a nurse. There were bodies strewn everywhere, but Emily’s thoughts were only on her 3 year old daughter. “HARLEY!” She finally screams hoping that her beautiful red-headed little girl will call out and everything will be alright. She doesn’t. Then she hears footsteps coming her way. Emily looks up immediately to find Jamie walking to her with tears in his eyes. Jamie was part of the only African American family in Lonesfield. Emily knew them well since she was the family’s favorite nurse. “Ms. Emily are you ok?” he said trying to hold back the tears. He tried so hard for a 17-year old boy, but his next few words made him break down into uncontrollable sobs, “My family is gone.” He falls to Emily. Emily tries to hold back a sob and tries to hold him, but then the pain hits her again and she lets out a tiny shriek. Jamie jumps. He was not expecting that. She can’t take the pain any longer. “Jamie,” she says, “my wrist is broken and I need your help. Can you do that?” He nods his head. “Ok, I need you to help me stand up so we can find something to help with my wrist.” He helps her up and Emily tries to look around her once again to try to find her little girl, “Have you seen her, Jamie?” Jamie has a look of confusion, “Who?” She becomes more frantic looking around her, “My little girl, Harley. You know her Jamie. She’s three years old with beautiful red hair. She was wearing the little red jumper that your mom had given her for her birthday.” Jamie shakes his head, “No, I’m sorry, I haven’t seen her,” his voice cracks as he tries to look around as well, “But we need to get you inside to help with your hand before we can go looking for her, ok?” Emily nods with a tear rolling down her cheek. “Ok, thank you Jamie.” They head into the hospital not knowing what they will find, but with hope that they will find someone who is still alive and who may know what had happened.

Welcome to Lonesfield
Lonesfield was a a great little town. It was what you think of when you picture a small town. Everyone is friendly and knows each other. There are the common places where everyone hangs out. Some occasional gossip every once in a while, but what do you expect when you know all 174 people? There was never a dull day in Lonesfield, always something going on and something to talk about. Everyone lived in their small, colorful houses and loved to walk down the streets and chat with their neighbors who were always outside soaking up the sun and enjoying the warm air. A day never passed where the sun did not shine.
Well, that's how it all used to be at least.
Then disaster struck.
This June 4th day will be one that no one in Lonesfield will forget. It started out sunny and pleasant. Then quickly the clouds rolled in. The residents of Lonesfield expected nothing of it and thought they would simply go away as quickly as they came, like how they always do. But on this day, all 174 residents were wrong and would regret not taking precautions.
A tornado came through and destroyed the town and it became a radioactive area. The buildings collapsed. The roads are piled high with debris and there is no way of getting out. The residents do not even know if there is a world outside of Lonesfield or not. Now there are 13 survivors. The limited food problem is the least of their worries right now. As the survivors wander around the town, they make out a few things that used to be houses and buildings. But they can barely be considered a building anymore. The town is destroyed. The 13 survivors have never lived in a world outside of perfect little Lonesfield, let alone a world that is in complete destruction and barely can be considered a town anymore. No shelter, no resources, limited food, and no electricity. How will they continue to be the lone survivors?
